In this episode Heather interviews Passion Architect, author, coach, and leader, Stephanie Walton.
Tune-in to hear their conversation on:
"Every moment is a choice." - How experiencing homelessness as a child taught Stephanie that building her dreams required her to choose that every day. This practice inspired her book and coaching practice, Succeeding with Passion, which helps people, no matter their circumstances, find their passion and build their life around that.
"It's hard for us to sit in that duality, the 'yes, and..'" - Stephanie's take on hero worship and cancel culture and how finding the human connection will help us address and heal social inequalities.
"How do you give people the space to grow?" - How the murder of George Floyd ripped off the mask and shield she wears as a Black woman and live openly and authentically and inspired her to begin working on the Grace and Space project to help foster communication and understanding across the racial divide.
"A year ago in October, my life changed completely." - Hearing Deborah Eden Tull speak at a women's retreat and reading her book, Relational Mindfulness, sparked Stephanie to operate in the world that is happening in this moment.

Stephanie Walton
Success is failure reengineered. Stephanie came to this conclusion after seeing massive failures reengineered into glorious successes. After facing numerous obstacles in her youth, Stephanie Walton came to understand that a life without a vision and plan results in unlocked potential. The lessons she learned in both her private and professional life helped her create a simple to use system - Passion Architect™, to help others unlock their potential and reach new heights. Stephanie’s new book Succeeding with Passion is divided into two sections:
Part I: Creating Your Toolkit is designed to illuminate the power of the different tools needed to find your passion and keep it at the forefront of your life.
In Part II: Building Your Future—The Passion Architect™ System, Stephanie teaches readers how to identify a passion and create a vision statement. A vision statement will offer clarity about what the passion will look like in the future when it becomes your reality.
Stephanie then helps readers build a strategy toward achieving that vision and she provides tools for executing it. The end result: passionate success!
Over the last decade, Stephanie has worked with many people to create a plan for their lives. Stephanie has created tools through her experiences that have helped her overcome homelessness in her youth, heal dysfunctional family relationships, advance in corporate America, and ultimately, pursue her own passion for helping others. Her motivation is something she learned in her faith, “you make your dreams come true, when you help others achieve theirs.” Helping people is the cornerstone of Stephanie’s beliefs.
Stephanie Walton has been a leader in several Fortune 500 companies over the last 20 years. Her commitment to self-awareness and vulnerability, courageous leadership, and coaching has successfully allowed her to coach business owners and leaders for nearly a decade. Stephanie lives in Rancho Cucamonga, California, with her husband, two daughters, and their dog, Penelope.
